Exploring Bangkok's Waterways with Thai Smile Boat and Mine Smart Ferry services

The Thai Smile Boat, a public passenger boat service, gracefully traverses the Chao Phraya River, providing commuters and tourists with a delightful journey along one of Bangkok's iconic waterways. Operated by Thai Smile Boat Limited, this electric boat service is part of a collaboration between E Smart Transport Co., Ltd. and Marine Department. Energy Absolute operates the Mine Smart Ferry, a transportation service in Thailand that navigates the Chao Phraya River, this eco-friendly vessel embarked on its maiden voyage on December 23, 2020, marking a significant milestone as Thailand's first electric-powered passenger boat.

The Mine Smart Ferry offers two distinct routes:

1. Green Line (City Line): This route extends from Phra Pinklao Pier to Sathorn Pier, taking approximately 40 minutes. It operates daily with a fare of 30 baht per trip.

 

2. Purple Line (Urban Line): Extending from Phra Nang Klao Pier to Sathorn Pier, this route takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. It operates daily with a fare of 30 baht per trip.
