Tai Rom Yen National Park

Tai Rom Yen National Park is an area of around 425 square kilometers covering two districts. Such is the density of its forest that the area around Khao Chong Chang Mountain once provided a base for elusive Thailand Communist Party of Thailand at the peak of their activity. The park offers a huge range of plants and wildlife and two major waterfalls - Dat Fa Waterfall (100-meters-high with 10 tiers) and Muang Thuat Waterfall. An endless series of trails lead to tourist spots where you can sit for a while to take in the glorious nature around you. You’ll need at least a day here – absolutely wonderful!

Details: Like all National Parks entrance is 200 Baht. It is possible to stay over night but you need your own tent, equipment and provisions.
