Richelieu Rock is a dive site with a maximum depth of 30 metres. The underwater seascape comprises a ‘U’ shaped group of rocks that lie just below the surface of the water when the tide is out. Water currents in the area can be very strong so this is not really a place for novices, although beginners with some experience can dive here alongside more experienced divers able to keep them in the shallower waters. This is a vast dive site and you will need countless dives to do the area justice! The marine life on show includes whale sharks and huge schools of fish including barracuda, batfish, the occasional manta and lots of seahorses. A great place to dive!
