Ubon Ratchathani Candle Festival

 Venue: Muang District, Ubon Ratchathani Province The Candle Festival in Ubon Ratchathani Province is considered to be one of the biggest merit festivals of this Province which will be held in Asalha Puja or Dharma Day and in the beginning of Buddhist lent every year. There will be the procession of carved candles in various shapes along the road from Sri Ubon Rattanaram temple to Thung Si Muang temple. The festival also includes a light and sound presentation, cultural shows, and displays of local artisans’ handcrafting and sculptures.
