The Light of Eternal Royalty

The City of Pattaya has released an official update regarding the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2025, announcing that the event will be renamed to: “The Light of Eternal Royalty – แสงแห่งความจงรักภักดี สถิตในใจนิรันดร์.”

The festival will take place as originally planned, with adjustments made to the program to reflect a more respectful and meaningful theme.

The new highlights include Khon performances, orchestral renditions of Royal Compositions, and an exhibition honoring the royal duties of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother.

Attendees are encouraged to wear traditional Thai attire in polite, muted tones, and to observe a one-minute silence before the fireworks show in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother.

1. New Event Title:
   Renamed as “The Light of Eternal Royalty – แสงแห่งความจงรักภักดี สถิตในใจนิรันดร์.”

   A traditional masked dance performance reflecting one of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s most significant royal initiatives in preserving Thai classical arts. Her famous words, “If no one watches Khon, I will watch it myself,” inspired national revival of the art.

   Special activities and rituals will honor and commemorate Her Majesty’s lifelong dedication and benevolence.

4. Moment of Silence:
   Before the fireworks display, all attendees will stand in silence for one minute to express their deepest respect and remembrance.

5. Opening Fireworks Set:
   The fireworks presentation will begin with a special segment titled “The Light of Eternal Royalty.”

6. Dress Code:
   Participants are invited to wear Thai traditional outfits in elegant and respectful tones to honor the spirit of the event.

7. Orchestra & Music Tribute:
   A symphonic orchestra will perform Royal Compositions and feature visual tributes to Her Majesty’s royal works.

8. Royal Exhibition Zone:
   A dedicated exhibition area will showcase photos and documentaries of Her Majesty’s royal duties — both as the Queen Consort of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, and as a beloved mother of the nation.

9. Food & Beverage Booth Registration:
   Vendor registration will open in early November 2025. Updates will be available on the PR PATTAYA Facebook Page.
