The 28th Standard Chartered Bangkok Marathon

 Venue: Sanam Chai Road located at the east side of the Grand Palace, Bangkok Standard Charterd Bangkok Marathon is one of the biggest marathons in Thailand. The event is set on the third week of November on Sunday every year. The full marathon and all other divisions start and finish at Sanam Chai Road, in front of The Royal Grand Palace (The Emerald Buddha Temple/Wat Phrakaew). The road surrounding that area will be temporary closed on the event date as well. Additionally, Bangkok Marathon 2015 also travels past many historical landmarks and through cultural and ethnic communities. There are 5 categories of this marathon: 1. Marathon, 42.195 km. 2. Half Marathon, 21.0 km. 3. Mini Marathon, 10.0 km. 4. Micro Marathon, 4.5 km. 5. Fun Walk, 1.5 km.
