Sweet Grape and Damnoen Saduak Goods Fair 2017

Venue: The Pier of Wat Charoen Tham (Wat Sun), Damnoen Saduak, Ratchaburi Damnoen Saduak has long been known for its floating market but this famous district of Ratchaburi can also boast plantations of various tropical fruits, especially sweet grapes. To promote this delicious produce the province holds an annual Sweet Grape festival and the much loved Damnoen Saduak Goods Fair. This year, the festival is celebrating its 30th year and there are a huge host of activities to enjoy. There will be the sweet grape and agricultural products contest of course; the Sweet Grape Kid Contest, water sports, cooking and baking contests and the challenging sea boxing competition. Food will be a big feature of the festival with noodle seasoning and eating contests to enjoy, as well as booths selling high-quality local products and Red Cross Fair to raise funds for local charities.
