The Spotlight Koh Tao 2024 will take place from May 3rd to May 5th, 2024.

We are thrilled to announce the dates for the 3rd annual SPOTLIGHT KOH TAO event! Following the tremendous success of SPOTLIGHT KOH TAO in 2022 and 2023, we are excited to present the third edition of our island-wide conservation event.

Taking place from May 3rd to May 5th, 2024, SPOTLIGHT KOH TAO features workshops and exhibitions showcasing the island's dedication to conservation and land and sea revitalization. We eagerly anticipate welcoming visitors and esteemed guests from Thailand and around the world to join our environmentally-themed celebration.

Organized by the Koh Tao Tourism Association, SPOTLIGHT KOH TAO is a three-day festival that highlights the island's commitment to conservation and promotes sustainable tourism. Through twelve marine and land activities led by various local initiatives, our program offers visitors innovative ways to explore the island while inspiring them to engage in conservation efforts.

Aligned with the Bio-Circular-Green Economic Model (BCG) outlined in the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), our activities reflect the community's dedication to preserving natural resources and developing sustainably, setting a new standard for tourism.

Since its inception in 2022, the festival has evolved into an annual event that has garnered significant attention and positive feedback from participants, including tourists, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, global media outlets, and international attendees. Anticipation among the community has grown as well, stimulating tourism and generating income for businesses while encouraging them to adopt green and responsible practices.

By fostering this collective effort, we aim to transform Koh Tao into a model for sustainable tourism and ensure a bright future for generations to come.
