Songkran in Banglamphu

 Venue: Suan Santi Chai Prakan, Phra Arthit Road, Bangkok Here, as a significant part of the Festival, there will be a ceremony where the “Buddha –banglampu Phra Chanath” is, with great respect, taken from Wat Bowonniwet Vihara to Santi Chai Prakan Park for the public to pray to and receive blessings. There are also other Buddhist ceremonies; such as, giving food to monks, the Thai tradition of being blessed by elders, and Thai dances.
