Siam Paragon, the renowned shopping haven, is back with a bang, presenting Thailand’s highly anticipated fashion extravaganza, 'Siam Paragon Bangkok International Fashion Week 2023' (BIFW2023). Under the theme 'The Future of Fashion,' this global fashion event will spotlight the critical theme of sustainability, a driving force reshaping the fashion industry. The event, in collaboration with 12 leading Thai brands, is set to unveil the immense potential of Thai fashion from October 5th to 8th, 2023, at Parc Paragon, Siam Paragon.
BIFW2023 is all set to dazzle with 12 spectacular runway shows, featuring renowned brands such as Absolute Siam, FLYNOW, FRI27NOV, Greyhound Original, ISSUE, Kloset, Leisure Projects, MOO, NAGARA, PAINKILLER Atelier, TUBE GALLERY, and VATANIKA. Each brand will unveil exclusive collections, emphasizing sustainability, and innovation.
In alignment with global fashion trends, Thai designers will creatively embrace sustainability, using recycled materials and natural fibers. The event will also host engaging talks on fashion and sustainability, featuring government representatives and leading Thai designers, open to the public on October 7-8, 2023, at SCBX NEXT STAGE, Siam Paragon.
Siam Paragon has joined hands with Siam Center and Siam Discovery to create a unique fashion experience. Siam Center will host Siam Center Visionary Stage, showcasing creative concepts from fashion design students and their take on sustainability. Siam Discovery will host 'The Future of Fashion' talk event focusing on 'Sustainable Fashion' on October 3, 2023.
BIFW2023 is a collaborative effort between public and private sectors, including partners like the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), AIONIC AUTO, Crocs, TikTok, Seiko, Purra, Harper's Bazaar, SCG, Chatrium Grand Bangkok, and M.A.C Cosmetics.
Thanaporn Tantiyanon, Head of Business Unit at Siam Paragon, expressed Siam Paragon's commitment to promoting Thai fashion globally. BIFW serves as a platform to showcase Thai designers' creations and nurture young talents, enriching the fashion landscape.
