Saneh Art by Songkran Festival 2026 invites visitors to experience the charm of Thai identity through contemporary art inspired by the Songkran festival. The event reinterprets the cultural meaning and symbolism of Thailand’s traditional New Year through creative artistic expressions by well-known Thai artists recognized for their distinctive character designs.

The exhibition aims to present the beauty, uniqueness, and cultural value of Songkran through accessible contemporary artworks that appeal to both Thai and international audiences. By blending tradition with modern creativity, the event offers a fresh perspective on Songkran while encouraging visitors to explore Bangkok’s cultural spaces during the festive season.

Large-Scale Contemporary Sculptures 🗿

From 10–30 April 2026, six large 3D sculptures made from durable fiberglass materials will be displayed across two key locations. Five installations will be showcased at Benchasiri Park, while one sculpture will be exhibited at Lan Khon Muang, Bangkok City Hall. Each artwork represents a unique character created by renowned Thai artists, reflecting the spirit and identity of Songkran through contemporary visual storytelling.

Songkran Cultural Activities 🎭

During 10–15 April 2026, visitors can enjoy a variety of recreational and cultural activities designed to create a lively festive atmosphere. Activities include:

  • Talks and discussions about contemporary Thai art
  • Creative workshops and interactive art experiences
  • Market booths featuring local products
  • Traditional Thai games and cultural activities

Visitors can participate in a special check-in challenge across both event locations for a chance to win exclusive limited-edition prizes, adding an interactive element to the festival experience.
