The fifth MotoGP Thailand Grand Prix is back, bringing thrilling motorcycle racing to the Chang International Circuit. This major international motorsport event will be held from October 25-27, 2024, and is expected to attract a global audience of over 800 million viewers across 200 countries.
Vice Minister for Tourism and Sports Phonpoom Vipattipumiprates emphasized the significant economic impact of the event, which brought nearly 180,000 spectators last year, boosted international tourism by 11%, and generated over 4.493 billion baht in local revenue. The growing excitement around MotoGP is further fueled by rising ticket sales and the success of Thai racers such as Somkiat Chantra and Tatchakorn Buasri, who have earned global recognition.
