The grand annual tradition of Nakhon Phanom Illuminated Boat Festival 2025 returns, now celebrated as the World Fire Boat Festival, showcasing spectacular cultural performances, rituals, and entertainment unique to Nakhon Phanom.

September 27, 2025 – Opening parade of the Nakhon Phanom Illuminated Boat Carnival with more than 900 participants, including celebrities, along Sunthorn Vijit Road.
October 7, 2025 (End of Buddhist Lent Night) – Official Opening Ceremony of the World Fire Boat Festival.
Stunning Light, Sound & Multimedia Show with eco-friendly fireworks over the Mekong: “Lights of Faith,” a one-of-a-kind performance.
