Music and Night at the Museum #5
September 11 - 12 , 2026
Music and Night at the Museum #5 Returns to Songkhla
The Music and Night at the Museum #5 will take place on 11–12 September 2026 at the Songkhla National Museum, inviting visitors to enjoy live music, explore local history, discover creative works, and experience the museum after dark.
Held from 17:00 to 21:00, the free event brings together a range of activities inspired by Songkhla’s culture and distinctive local motifs. Visitors can browse handmade products and creative works at Motif Market, enjoy performances by local young musicians at Motif in Melody, and take part in Sky Motifs, featuring stargazing activities, including moon and Jupiter balloon displays by the Songkhla Observatory.
A highlight of the event is the FOLK STAR TOUR mini-concert by Max Jenmana and Jesse Mek, taking place on 12 September. The museum will also present Museum Theater: “Songkhla Motifs,” an immersive performance combining light, sound, shadow, and storytelling to explore the history and identity of Songkhla.
The Museum Theater will be presented twice each evening, with each session limited to 40 people. Admission to the museum and general event activities is free, while the theater experience has an additional fee. All proceeds from the theater will support scholarships for students of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at Thaksin University.
Visitors can also join the #แต่งใต้ไฉไล2026 campaign by wearing stylish Southern Thai-inspired outfits for a chance to win special prizes from AirAsia and Laguna Grand Hotel & Spa Songkhla.
