Khorat Geopark and Fossil Academy and Shop Brings Prehistoric Discovery Experience to Korat ðĶðĶī
A unique educational event exploring the ancient world will take place at Central Korat with the Khorat Geopark and Fossil Academy and Shop. The event invites visitors to discover the fascinating world of fossils and prehistoric life through interactive learning activities and exhibitions.
Inspired by the globally recognized Khorat UNESCO Global Geopark, the event offers visitors the opportunity to experience hands-on paleontology activities and explore how fossils discovered in the region have contributed to international scientific recognition.
The event features five highlight activity zones, each designed to provide an exciting learning experience:
Khorat Fossil Excavation – Visitors can take part in a simulated fossil dig and experience the thrill of uncovering ancient remains, similar to real fieldwork conducted by paleontologists.
Khorat Fossil Restoration – Learn how experts carefully preserve and restore fossils, gaining insight into the delicate process of protecting prehistoric discoveries.
Khorat Fossil Exhibition – Explore displays of fossils and prehistoric creatures, showcasing the region’s rich paleontological history.
From Khorat Fossil to Khorat UNESCO Global Geopark – Discover the journey that led fossil discoveries in the region to international recognition as a UNESCO Global Geopark.
Khorat Fossil and Geopark Shop – Browse souvenirs, educational items, and locally inspired products related to fossils and the geopark.
