This year, Jim Thompson Farm invites visitors to explore the vibrant essence of northeastern Thailand with its 2024 theme, “ISAN CALLING.” The event highlights Isan's rich cultural heritage through food, art, music, and traditional festivities, offering a blend of authentic experiences and modern creativity in a picturesque natural setting.

Event Highlights

  1. Cultural Activities and Performances:

    • Traditional Isan dance and music, including live Molam (folk music) shows by the rice fields.
    • The Lamlok exhibition showcasing rare, captivating photographs of Molam legends.
  2. Art and Nature:

    • ART ON FARM Project: An array of installations by local and international artists, combining Isan culture and nature to transform the farm into an outdoor art gallery.
  3. Workshops:

    • Hands-on crafts like natural indigo dyeing, pottery, and traditional Isan desserts.

    • A rice-themed exhibit featuring over 20 edible rice varieties.
    • The Jim Thompson Silk Pavilion, showcasing the entire silk-making process.
