HIP Magazine and Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT - Mae Hong Son Office) would like to invite you to take part in the cycling tour to Pai and participate activity in Pai with us. This year, we still focus on the concept of bicycle touring to test your endurance and to let you soak in nature and absorb the beauty of the surroundings. A total of 120 kilometres in distance and you think you won’t be able to make it to Pai? Fret not, we make sure everyone arrives at the finish location together. So, let’s get out there for a fun cycling with us! ‘A unique experience you won t find anywhere else is here and now!’ You can choose to either bring your own bicycle or to rent from our recommended bicycle rental shop. If you prefer to bring your own, any bicycle in a good shape will do. A foldable bike, a lightweight bike or a full-sized one, it doesn’t matter. (Let s the staff know of you want to park the car.) 07:00 An adventure starts from the starting point in Chiang Mai. The whole journey is supported by van service and a group of pro cyclists to take care of all participants throughout the journey. The 1st checkpoint: a break from riding at Green Food Coffee. The 2nd checkpoint: a lunch break at OK MART (halfway through) The 3rd checkpoint: a break from riding at Rak Jang Look Out. Finish Line (A total of 120 kilometres): arrive at Pai Memorial Bridge and receive a finisher s medal from TAT. Check-in at Belle Villa Resort (PACK A) and rest after a long journey. 18:30 A buffet-style dinner at Belle Villa Resort. (All Package) (Note : Alcoholic beverages are not included.) Feb 16 (Sat) Breakfast at the hotel (PACK A) 09:00 Registration at Belle Villa Resort....briefing and split group. followed by a laid-back start of a cycling tour in Pai. Cycling around Pai, * Easy : approximately 20 kilometres. * Hard : approximately 40-45 kilometres. A break from riding at the checkpoint and lunch A cycling back to the hotel, Free Time Feb 17 (Sun) Breakfast at the hotel (PACK A) Free Time 11:30 Check-out of the hotel. (PACK A) Participants from PACK B and C can arrange a pickup with our staff. *** Drop the bicycle at Belle Villa Resort *** *** If you want to cycling yourself back to Chiang Mai, their are no supported by van service. But you can leave the bag and your belonging with us. *** A lunch break on the way back and return to Chiang Mai. Remark : - Participants can bring their luggage to the van before the event or in the morning before the registration time assigned. - The participants who are not able to ride and non-cycling participants can take a seat in one of the vans provided at 07:00/13:00. - The schedule may be subject to change under certain circumstances.
