.jpg) Venue: Pha Hin Ngam and Sai Thong National Parks, Chiyaphum The Dok Krachiao Festival 2017 takes place from 1 June - 30 September when the famous Siam Tulips (Dok Krachiao) are in bloom. During the floral display, which lasts up to three months, the national parks of Pha Hin Ngam and Sai Thong look as though they have been given a glorious pink carpet. It is one of the loveliest attractions of Isan and well worth seeing, especially in the mornings when the morning mists add a magical aspect to the sight. To celebrate this annual event, there is a festival held by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and the local authorities offering fun activities and tours of the flower fields. There are also trekking tours in both national parks, booths selling local food and handcrafts and musical concerts to enjoy.
