Chiang Rai Flower Festival and Music in the Park 2016

 Chiang Rai provincial authority and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Chiang Rai office is encouraging local and international travellers to get to Chiang Rai, not only to experience the pleasant weather of the cool season but also enjoy Chiang Rai Flower Festival and Music in the Park which is set to be held from 29 December 2016 – 31 January 2017. Activities during the event include a wide variety or cold climate flora on exhibit throughout the park, flower sculpture exhibitions, displays of cold-climate plants, decorative plants and a flower competition, as well as a fair selling local products. A Miss Thinn Thai Ngarm beauty contest is also a part of the flower festival. Every Saturday during the event, there will be special musical performance by young local bands to entertain all visitors. There are also concerts from leading singers planned.
