Chaiyaphum Dok Krachiao Blooming Festival 2024
June 1 , 2024 - August 31 , 2024
Experience the breathtaking beauty of the Siam Tulip fields in Chaiyaphum from June to August.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) invites you to visit Chaiyaphum province in Northeast Thailand, where the Siam Tulip, or Dok Krachiao, blooms in stunning colors each year at the start of the rainy season. During this period, the vibrant flower fields can be admired at Pa Hin Ngam National Park in Thep Sathit district and Sai Thong National Park in Nong Bua Rawe district.
At Sai Thong National Park, you will find both white and pink Krachiao flowers, while Pa Hin Ngam National Park showcases predominantly pink blossoms. The lush green landscapes of the Northeastern region, known as Isan, are particularly picturesque during the rainy or ‘green’ season, making Chaiyaphum a prime destination for nature lovers.
In addition to Pa Hin Ngam and Sai Thong National Parks, Chaiyaphum boasts other natural attractions such as Phu Laen Kha National Park, Tat Ton National Park, and Phu Khieo Wildlife Sanctuary. Visitors can also enjoy the mesmerizing ‘sea of mist’ around cliffs in the national park areas, such as Pha Hum Hot in Sai Thong National Park, Pha Sut Phaen Din in Pa Hin Ngam National Park, and Pha Hua Nak in Phu Laen Kha National Park.
To visit the parks, tourists must purchase entrance tickets through the QueQ application before arriving. The parks are open daily from 06.00 to 18.00 Hrs.
