Bangkok Design Week 2026 (BKKDW2026) marks its 9th consecutive year as a leading international design festival. Organized by the Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization – CEA) in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, along with public and private sectors, educational institutions, international organizations, and creative district partners, the festival brings the city to life for 11 full days.
This year, designers, creatives, entrepreneurs, developers, and the public are invited to explore how design goes beyond aesthetics to become a practical tool for driving economic growth and improving quality of life.
Under the central concept “DESIGN S/O/S,” the festival focuses on three key themes:

S – Secure Domestic: Setting new standards to energize and strengthen the domestic market

O – Outreach Opportunities: Creating new opportunities and global collaborations

S – Sustainable Future: Seeking resilient solutions for the future
The festival features over 350 creative activities across Bangkok’s creative districts, reflecting how design integrates with urban contexts. It also includes more than 30 youth development programs from 10 educational institutions, preparing the next generation for careers in the creative industries.
Visitors can enjoy talks, workshops, creative events, district tours, design markets, and collaborative programs with designers from over 16 countries, along with special promotions from local shops and restaurants—showcasing Thai design in action and reinforcing Bangkok’s position as a global creative city.
