Ayutthaya World Heritage Fair 2018

 The 27th Ayutthaya World Heritage Fair 2018 will held during 7-16 December 2018 at Ayutthaya Historical Park To commemorate the anniversary that UNESCO has register Ayutthaya as a world heritage site in 1991. This year the fair open ceremony will happen on the 7th of November at 02:00 pm. The fair will start from the Ayutthaya Tourist Center. This year we campaign for tourist to wear Thai traditional dresses for the whole of December. Inside the fair visitors can enjoy sightseeing with beautiful lightworks. Visitor can enjoy parade, shows, walking street, and shopping at old style market. Moreover visitors can attend Miss Ayutthaya, Ayutthaya Music Challenge and Ayutthaya Talent. This year there will be historical re-enactment which include over 400 actors! The parades are in total of 8 parades on each parade will consisting of a statues of Ayutthaya Kings, the parade attendees will all dress in Thai traditional clothing. Which will be on the 7th December 2018 02:00 pm. This year visitors can visit the city shrine from morning until 10:00 pm. and pay respect to the shrine for good luck. At the Red-Cross tent visitors can enjoy lucky-draw and get prizes from small trinkets to a gold necklace. On 16th there will be a special prize such as cars, motorcycles, etc. The center stage is where Miss Ayutthaya, Ayutthaya Music, and Ayutthaya Talent contests will be held. There are approximately 120 local product (OTOP product) of Ayutthaya will be available for purchase. The cultural field is a place where an exhibition will be held. It shows the people way of life and culture during Ayutthaya period. Also there are products from 16 district available. The old market is where people like to come every year. There are foods available. The merchants will all dress in traditional Thai clothes and over 100 shop are participating, starting from 04:00 pm. - 09:00 pm. Kin Sen/Kin Kung is where visitors can enjoy over 30 local food stores including boat noodle, river shrimps, pad Thai, etc. Other interesting activities include sightseeing by cruising on boat and taking selfie at beautiful train tunnel. Visitors can also enjoy famous products of over 16 district that come together at this fair.
