11th Singha River Kwai International Trophy Adventure Race

 Venue: Felix River Kwai Resort, Kanchanaburi The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Singha Corporation, AMA Events, and the province of Kanchanaburi are collaborating to arrange the Singha River Kwai International Trophy Adventure Race 2016 – The 11th edition of the most popular and largest Adventure Race in South East Asia. The race will take place on 28 May, 2016. Singha River Kwai Trophy Adventure Race 2016 involves the completion of four endurance disciplines – mountain biking, jungle running, kayaking, and river swimming with surprise obstacles along the course. The route goes over land and water in the scenic landscape and wilderness of Kanchanaburi. The quadrathlon begins at the historic bridge on the River Kwai, as teams of two advance through trails and obstacle courses across farmland, mountain, jungle and river in a four-legged race of skill, teamwork, mental and physical stamina. This year’s adventure race is accepting only 150 teams (two members per team). Entrants will be able to choose between the Extreme Division (a challenging course that will take between 4.5 – 8 hours to complete), and the Adventure Division (suitable for ‘weekend warriors’ that will take approximately 3-5 hours to complete). Both divisions will start at 8:30 hrs and finish at the River Kwai Bridge. Buffet dinner and prizes/trophies ceremony will be held at 19:00 hrs on the same evening. Prize money will only be awarded for the Extreme Division. Trophies for top finishers, medals, gifts and lucky draws will be presented at the gala dinner after the race.
