Apart from being situated in the same Soi, Jools shares other similarities with Chequers. Both have two floors and both share a British theme. Of the two, Jools is the better established with many years of trading under its belt. Its restaurant area is clearly defined and it comes across much more like a bar with a restaurant. As with Chequers, Jools draws a regular crowd of expatriates alongside regular tourists. If you sit downstairs for any length of time you are bound to be drawn into conversation with someone. Chequers offers excellent British food with equally good Thai cuisine. British owned and managed, for many this is not just a place to go for a drink or a bite to eat, it's a way of life! To get there walk down Soi 4 (away from Sukhumvit Road) and it's on your left. Nana is the nearest BTS station.
