Chatuchak Park

  • Hotel 2

Better known for being the venue for the Weekend Market, Chatuchak Park is a large park with plenty of open space and shade. It is the biggest park in the north of the city and houses a boating lake and offers a variety of activities including bicycle rental and a number of exercise stations. Popular with joggers and shoppers – not least because of its situation near the Weekend Market but also because of its close proximity to Central Plaza, a major shopping mall to the northeast of the park.

Details: Admission to the park is free and it is open daily 05:00-21:00.

How to get there: Getting to Chattuchak Park couldn’t be easier – the park has its own MRT station (Chattuchak) and is right next to Mochit BTS station. A taxi fare from the centre of Bangkok will cost around 80-90 Baht.
