Maenam Song Si, also known as the Bi-colored River or the Mun River alluvium, is located in Khong Chiam District, about 84 kilometers from Ubon Ratchathai. At the mouth of the Mun River (where the Mun River runs into the Mekong River), this joining section is the place where two rivers joined, the brown Mekong River and the blue Mun River.
Visitors can see such the color difference from Wat Khong Chiam and Ban Huai Mak. April is the best time to see Maenam Song Si. A boat cruise service to explore the rivers and other areas like Kaeng Tana, Ban Woen Buek and Pha Taem. Visitors can also shopping at the nearby Lao border.
