Rayong is not really a place people tend to stay - rather they hit the province and head of to the nearby islands - particularly Koh Samet. As a result many people miss the area's attractions. Ban Phe and the area around it have excellent coastline and some great beaches. Never crowded or hurried - they make a great alternative to some of Thailand's more overpopulated destinations!
