More than 80 films from 30 countries will be screened at the World Film Festival of Bangkok, which will be attended by eminent film personalities from around the world, and have a range of events, including a film work-shop, poster exhibition, Q & A sessions with film-makers, and social functions. The event takes place from October 25, 2007 to November 4, 2007.
This year’s festival will introduce a record number of film premieres from Thailand and Asia as well as a full schedule of films and shorts with many outstanding surprises for local film lovers. This year’s European Film Festival joins the World Film Festival, making this one of the largest film events in the region. The event itself continues to be organized by The Nation, a daily English language newspaper in Thailand. Dates and full lineup of films will be announced next week.
