The 2nd Annual Phuket International Blues Festival takes places February 16 and 17, 2007 and it promises to be a scorcher! The festival will be held at the Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort and Spa in Karon Beach and the full schedule has now been confirmed. 

Victor Brox, the famous British blues singer, will headline Friday night’s acts while, as with last year, the Rich Harper Blues Band from the United States brings the event to a rousing finale. Other confirmed acts include local bands Cannonball, Soi Dog Blues Band, Blue on Blue, The Blues Machine and The Groove Doctors. In addition, standing in her father’s footsteps, Kyla Brox, Victor Brox’s daughter, is also performing.

There will also be an all-star jamming session on Sunday, February 18, 2007, although details are yet to be confirmed.

The 2007 festival is a charity event and profits are being donated to these organizations dedicated to children's education. What better way to donate your money to a great cause than watching some great blues bands?
