The Old Dutch is right at the entrance to Soi Cowboy, offering respite from the frenetic entertainment of the street’s Go-Go bars! Dutch owned, the restaurant provides authentic Dutch café ambience and offers a very reasonable menu of Dutch and other European dishes. Excellent Fish and Chips, all day breakfasts, specialist Dutch cuisine and excellent Cappuccino make the Old Dutch somewhere to spend a bit of time in rather than having a hurried meal. The restaurant has international newspapers and magazines from every corner of the world and you can play board games upstairs. To give you an idea of costs, sandwiches are around 100 Baht and salads 125 Baht. This restaurant has a well-stocked bar with local and foreign beers and spirits available. To get there the nearest MTR is Sukhumvit and the nearest BTS Asok. From both, cross Asoke Road and turn left after the Shell petrol station. It’s about 5 minutes walk and the Old Dutch is on your left.
