We all remember the Murrey Head song ‘One Night in Bangkok’. Well, fact is Bangkok’s Go-Go scene is still there, but it’s more sanitised and structured than it used to be. Thailand’s ‘Social Order’ campaigns have had the most impact in Bangkok and the strict enforcement of a 01:00 curfew has had a significant impact on Bangkok’s entertainment zones. However, despite being nominally curtailed, they are still doing brisk business and most visitors to the capital will venture out to at least one of these areas just for the experience. In Bangkok, there are three key ‘Go-Go’ areas: Patpong, Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy.
