Bangkok was sometimes something of a wasteland as far as top class music events are concerned, but 2006 promises to be very different. Case in point, the Bangkok 100 Rock Festival. Some of the world’s top bands (including a number of world-class Thai bands) descend on Lakeside Muang Thong Thani (about 45 minutes from Bangkok city centre) 18-19 February 2006 for what is probably Thailand’s most ambitious rock concert to date.
