Phetchaburi's hills, rivers and streams are set off against rocks and boulders to produce a visually dazzling imagery. Most are great places for walks and treks, or for gentler activities like picnics. Phetchaburi offers some places of beauty not necessarily available in other provinces. The Kaeng Krachan Reservoir for instance is particularly noted for its appeal, as are Pa La-U waterfalls.
