Given the events of the Second World War, many of Kanchanaburi’s museums focus on the building of the ‘Death Railway’ during Japan’s administration of Thailand. However, as elsewhere in Thailand, some of Kanchanaburi‘s museums (for example those in Prasat Muang Singh historical park) offer reference to Thailand’s ancient history.
