Phuket has an excellent road system and as it is one of the key holiday destinations in the kingdom, easily accessible by plane and boat from the mainland. Phuket's Andaman Sea location is ideal for diving and from here you can dive most of Thailand’s favoured dive sites. For more advanced divers, the King Cruiser car ferry wreck is a blessing although you should not ‘swim-through’ the wreckage because it is unsafe. Banana Bay is one of the best spots in Phuket for novice divers.
