Koh Lanta is 80 kilometres south of Krabi. Actually two islands (Koh Lanta Yai and Koh Lanta Noi) the area is littered with excellent dive sites. The islands are relatively undeveloped compared to places like Phuket. The most usual route to the islands for diving purposes is through liveaboard trips.
