For those interested in meditation the House of Dhamma offers public classes in Vipassana (Insight) meditation most Sundays. They cater for a range of experience offering classes for those who have just started meditating and those with greater experience. The centre also arranges one-day retreats, weekend and seven-day Insight meditation retreats, group sessions, and Reiki healing courses.

Details: The House of Dhamma offers a range of courses including Sunday morning Vipassana classes costing 500 Baht per person, one-day Vipassana Meditation Retreats costing 3,000 baht per person (including lunch and snacks), and two-day introductory courses for Vipassana meditation costing 6,000 baht per person (including lunch and snacks). Also provided are Reiki healing courses, Metta (Loving Kindness) Meditation workshops costing 4,000 baht per person (including lunch), Pendulum Power workshops costing 2,000 baht per person, and Discover Your Healing Crystals workshops costing 2,000 baht per person. The House of Dhamma also offers a wide range of courses available by appointment.   

How to get there: Located one kilometre from the Central Sofitel Hotel, Lardpow and five minutes by taxi from Morchit. Ladprow is in the north of Bangkok, fairly near to Central Ladprow – a major Shopping Centre. Probably the quickest way to get there is by MRT, stopping at Phahon Yothin Station. Cross the road in front of Central and take a taxi to the Soi.
