Bangkok has a well rounded nightlife often revolving around the capital’s entertainment areas. Places like Patpong have long been the focus of Bangkok’s nightlife, but over the years a number of new areas emerged catering for differing crowds. Royal City Avenue (RCA) is a major draw for Thai youth and an increasing number of foreign tourists, as are places like Siam Square. However, Bangkok’s Khao San Road has over the last few years seen a role reversal – once solely frequented by foreign backpackers and budget tourists, Khao San is now one of the capital’s leading entertainment attractions and enjoyed nightly by legions of Thai youth. Bangkok’s entertainment areas guarantee a good time for all. If you are in town for a while, they are well worth checking out.
